The Ride to Conquer Cancer 2010
I wanted to thank you one last time for the support you showed by donating to our 2010 RideTo Conquer Cancer this year. Over this past weekend, Marcus and I and the entire DexterTeam raised over $115,000 in the fight against cancer.
The ride this past weekend covered 260km over two days. We rode 130km per day campinghalfway in ‘tent city’ in Mt. Vernon. Saturday blessed us with cloudy skies and cool cycling butSunday’s ride into Seattle was mostly heavy rain. Nonetheless, apart from some spills (someserious, some not) almost everyone made it to the finish in good form.

Overall, 2250 riders this year raised over $9,200,000 for cancer research and equipmentfor the BC Cancer Foundation. This kind of ground breaking record in fund raising is onlysuccessful thanks to kind and generous people like you. The battle to beat cancer can and willbe won in our lifetime – and you will be a part of that victory!
